We’ve learned change is normal,
It lurks ‘round the bend!
Last year,
We had Biblical plagues without end.
Nobody could travel,
But if you did roam,
Who knew when and if
You could make it back home?
But just for the moment,
It certainly seems,
You’re right here before me…
Or, is it a dream?
For an 80th birthday, my inner voice asked,
Could we get together without any mask!?!
And…
Celebrate your twenty-eight on this earth
With cake and ice cream and a toast to your birth!
Suddenly you did appear in New York,
Throwback to that other flight via stork!
It’s fun, feast and family…coming our way,
