Hallowe’en 2020
The
Winds of plague
Have practiced since
The dawn of twenty-twenty;
And what will Samhain bring us?
Who knows?
But, there’ll be plenty.
The Moon is gathering her skirts
To glow upon us full…
Can’t guess the mischief
She has planned,
But she has plenty pull.
The beasties, ghosts and goblins
Will be out…
Ya gotta love ‘em!
While all the witches in full flight
Will swoop and dive above ‘em.
Then, shortly after midnight,
At the peak of darkest power,
Our clocks must all fall back a bit
To add an extra hour.
The scariest night in all the year
Will thus be even stronger,
When evils loose
Upon the Earth
Can play a little
Longer.
