Rotary Prayer

The
Waning days of hot July,
With heat waves we are copin’…
We cling to shade
And icecold drinks,
While planning for Dick’s Open.
Hats off!
To much-loved Johnny Hart,
A Citizen of the Year!
Still funding community service
As he did when he was here.
Rotarians seek to do good works,
With not a hesitation,
To bring the bonds of brotherhood
To every man and nation.
One constant we can revel in,
That John could plainly see,
Is that part of all creation
Is our own humanity.
May the Legacy of the Open
Help fuel work we do,
That we may benefit mankind,
And be a joy to You.
