Is the healer’s art…
One part science…
Nine parts heart.
Gentle hands of delicate touch…
Caring words that mean so much…
Knowledge, sharp as the surgeon’s knife,
Excise dis-ease to nurture life…
The road to a cure you were always after…
Strengthened by the gift of laughter…
Applying whatever achieves the weal
That allows once wounded flesh to heal…
And…
When there is healing…
What joy then,
That frees the spirit to fly again!
The sadness of wellness is…
We must part,
With a pang in an otherwise
Happy Heart.
My gratitude cannot be measured…
Your friendship is forever treasured.
And, it helps to know that you’ll still be there,
Ready to medicate, mend and care…
Kind of a squad of healing “mothers”
Bandaging wounds on countless others.
I’m thrilled that my wellness has been restored…
You may miss me…
