One of my online classes is dealing with poetry this week…in honor of the topic, they were sent a Haiku for Friday:
Writers paint poems....
Words come in many colors...
Frame them carefully.
Wouldn’t it be fun to write thank-you notes only in Haiku?
Thanks for the toaster…
Reliably makes bread hot…
Peanut butter melts.
Or,
A George Forman Grill…
O, you really shouldn’t have…
I am overcome.
More seriously,
Generosity…
Sometimes takes my breath away…
