Just a woman,
Just a man:
Who defines it?
No one can.
Great in the sunlight,
Dark of night…
Eyes sparkle…
When it’s right,
It’s right!
Military?
Only greater…
Make a home
For Baby Tater.
Colorado,
D.C.
California….
That’s where Broccoli
Was born, yeah.
Keep it free
And movin’ on…
Alpacas in
Pagosa dawn.
Retire…
Once again
A rover.
Move to Canada…
Start over.
Great apart
And great together,
Who knew
If you’d hang on
To weather
The vagaries of married life,
The challenges,
The joys and strife?
From Mercantile
To purple fields,
Amazing what
The journey yields…
From the start,
When two are one,
The journey chosen
Is begun.
The years go by,
The tale unfolds…
What starts
As silver
Turns to gold.
What is this thing
We marvel of?
A miracle that’s
Known as
Love.
